Description
DECTRIS, founded as a spin-off of PSI, is a Swiss company specialising in x-ray cameras. From pixellated Silicon sensors, originally developed for particle physics experiments, we have developed photon counting x-ray cameras for science and industry.
This talk will focus on the hybrid photon counting detectors developed at DECTRIS and how they are integrated into modular cameras. From the perspective of an R&D-scientist I will present the current sensor and ASIC technology in detail and talk about challenges in the industrial production of ready-to-use cameras.
