Monitoring

• We will make the Data Volume dashboards public (currently restricted to specified people but no reason to do this).
• The meter-cta dashboards will stay private, for CTA operations internal use.
• On KPIs, there are 3 graphs for CASTOR but only the first 2 are relevant for CTA. The 3rd graph, "Active Transfers", is for transfers to CASTOR disk. In EOS+CTA we use the EOS control tower for this.

CTA Service Availability

In CASTOR, availability = drives up / total drives. If availability > 75% the box is green.

We need a new command like "cta-admin status" to provide this information.

In SNow, there is a global status for the service and a separate availability page with breakdown by VO. This more detailed info can include the status of each CTA EOS instance and CTA tape backend.
