National Security and Treaty Verification Workshop

Jeter Hall (SNOLAB)

Update 2020 March 20: The Workshop is postponed.

SNOLAB is hosting a workshop to discuss deep underground measurements in the context of national security, specifically to improve treaty verification technologies.

With the goal of creating a stronger network and sharing expertise, we expect contributions from Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, Defence Research and Development Canada, Natural Resources Canada, Health Canada and the SNOLAB astroparticle physics community.

The workshop will open on Wednesday, May 27th and close on Thursday May 28th, 2020, with a dinner on Wednesday night.

Tours of the underground science areas of the SNOLAB facility will be available as part of the workshop on Wednesday morning, May 27.
