The Departmental Silicon Facility and the Bond- and QART-labs of EP-DT

The Departmental Silicon Facility (DSF) comprises a number of services available to the silicon detector community and beyond: the common cleanroom, the Bondlab and the QARTlab. LHC experiments and different projects are using the common cleanroom for silicon tracker development, test and assembly. The Bondlab is a unique service at CERN, providing micro-connections using Aluminium wedge wire bonding as well as general support for detector connectivity. The QARTlab has been founded to support LHC detector upgrades with quality and reliability testing of components as well as assembled elements. This seminar will present the different services and provide an overview of the recent renovation works.
