There are numerous ways you can support the SciCommHack as a mentor:
Selection of participants: Help us in identifying the most suitable applicants for each challenge.
Selection of challenges: Help us in identifying and defining the challenges and their distinct requirements.
Webinar (pre-hack) or workshop (during the hack): Share your expertise with our participants prior to or during the event, providing basic hackathon skills and knowledge.
Judging committee: Become part of the jury, which involves judging the deliverables of the teams by various criteria, eventually awarding the best projects.
Mentoring teams: Support one or multiple projects with your specific expertise, showing the participants new skills and methods while they’re working on their projects.
Depending on your availability, you can support one or multiple projects on a short-term (hackathon weekend) or long-term basis.
