ASP Covid-19 Exercise Meeting on June 2

https://indico.cern.ch/event/924694/

Present: Benise, Ebode, Gopolang, Kondwani, Toivo and Kétévi.

1) Kondwani presented a comparison between the model and data of Rwanda. The active cases in Rwanda also show structures similar to the ones we see in the data of Togo. Kondwani will develop R0(t) based on the evolution of the active cases in Rwanda. He will also try understand how the Rwandan data are collected to map correctly the active cases to the model.

2) Toivo showed his implementation of R0(t) in SciLab. There are some errors in the coding. Thanks to Gopolang to point him to a useful startup on coding in MatLab / SciLab. Benise said she can help with MatLab. We made suggestions to Toivo to fix his code.  If necessary, Toivo, Benise and Kétévi will meet to help fix Toivo’s code.

3) Kétévi showed progress on the modeling of the data of Togo. He explained how he developed R0(t) for Togo and how he mapped the “Active Cases” of Togo into the model, based on discussions with Somiealo.
