Abstract:

Virasoro blocks lie at the heart of a number of 2d CFT observables but are, however, not known in closed form. In this talk, I shall demonstrate the emergence of quasi-modular forms when the block is analysed the regime of intermediate exchanges of large conformal dimension. Reasons behind the presence of this structure and some applications will be discussed.
