Pierre informed that the two pallets with the parts for cavity frame and the trolley must be removed from the main workshop by Monday.

Alexej will take care of this on Monday with Karol from Main workshop and somebody from B252.

Fabio informed about results of the first tests of the revolver magnet holder. See the slides. Two issues have been mentioned which might have been the reason for no plasma. polarity of the magnets were not correct and the assembly had arcing due to floating potential. This will be corrected in the next tests in 2 week when Alban is back.

Tommi prepared the drawings for some part of the coating system assembly, see his contribution. He expect some feed back from Marco G. concerning fabrication of the parts in order to finalize the drawing.

Hello everybody,

 

I’ve made the designs for assembly and positioning of the WOWCC sputtering tools. There are few of them so I’ll make a short list with descriptions. I am not taking into account the cavity handling frame, trolley or chemistry toolings or possible magnet and movement system prototypes which are already either manufactured or being manufactured.

2401735 | FCCACSGA__T0055 - SIX CATHODE TOP ASSEMBLY | Assembly of the 6 long cathode supports and cathodes onto the top bell. I made a preliminary top bell design to give an idea of what we want, but it can/will be changed depending on the manufacturing of the cathode supports.

2401724 | FCCACSGA__T0091 - CATHODE STORAGE UNIT | A storage/assembly tooling for assembling and storing the top assembly 0055

2401736 | FCCACSGA__T0079 - SIX CATHODE CAVITY ASSEMBLY | Assembly of the top assembly 0055 onto the cavity + bottom bell and other parts needed

2401732 | FCCACSGA__T0086 - CATHODE ASSEMBLY MOCKUP | We talked of making some cathode supports and assembling them on an aluminum plate to see how they fit and align. This is my suggestion for the test.

 

There will be further tools to do such as how do we move the magnet inside the cathode support, but they will defined during the testing to be done on the 6-way cross set-up.
