Description

Title: Prospects for Ultra Heavy Dark Matter Phenomenology.

Abstract:

Recent searches for dark matter have been focussed on the WIMP-scale, which is currently strongly constrained. This lack of a clear signal has prompted searches beyond the Electroweak-scale, particularly towards lower masses. However, the vast range of DM possibilities also prompts an exploration of DM with much larger masses. In this talk I will present a model for ultra-heavy DM, motivated by possible multi-scattering signals in current and future direct detection experiments. I will further discuss a possible mechanism of thermally producing these very heavy particles in the early universe.
