Deciphering the Universe's Dark History

by Tracy Slatyer

Description

84% of the matter in the universe is “dark”, presently invisible to us except through its gravitational interactions. However, even tiny interactions between dark and visible matter could have reshaped our universe’s deep past, and left signatures in light that is only now reaching our telescopes. I will present new and improved tools to predict and constrain such signals, and discuss the implications for dark matter physics.
