Participant Support

The conference organisers aim to support all participants in the best way possible to create an inclusive environment that fosters scientific exchange.

Financial support is unfortunately no longer available at this time.

The venue is fully accessible to delegates with reduced mobility. Sessions will be live streamed and recordings will be made available. Plenary sessions will have a live captioning service.

Participants who need to bring in-person support, e.g. a sign language interpreter, are welcome to do so and we will register their support person free of charge, which includes access to all social events. Please indicate this on the registration form.

On-site child care will be facilitated and up to a certain capacity we will be able to provide this free of charge. The child care will be in a dedicated room in the same building as the conference and will be provided by professional child carers. In order to be able to offer this service, we need to know in advance, so please make sure to indicate this in the appropriate box on the registration form. The room will also provide a quite place for breast feeding, although this will be welcome anywhere in the venue. Please note that we are now so close to the conference that additional child care related requests can no longer be guaranteed, but we will do our best to support everyone.

Participants requiring further support or with suggestions for how we can make the event more inclusive should get in touch with the organisers.

The conference will of course follow all local health and safety requirements. Details of the measures in place and steps to be taken by delegates will be communicated nearer the start of the conference.

If you require a visa invitation letter, please register via the form in the "Registration" menu and email lp-2021@cern.ch with the request, detailing what information should appear on the letter.
