The ForwArd Search ExpeRiment (FASER) and FASERnu are planned LHC detectors which will be located in the TI12 tunnel of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and will measure cross sections for the charged current neutrino / antineutrino interactions ν_μ d -> μ- u and \bar{ν}_μ u -> μ+ d at energies for which their is not yet cross section data. Their tracking and neutrino identification capability is studied using Monte Carlo simulations of the detector. Updated resolution and cross section sensitivity results for the muon neutrino/antineutrino are presented. FASERnu will be sensitive to neutrinos in the 10 GeV - 4 TeV range and will be able to detect collider-produced neutrinos for the first time ever.
