Recent results on Vector Boson plus jet production from CMS

Vector boson production accompanied by light-jets, or heavy-flavor jets are essential processes to test different theoretical predictions and represents important backgrounds to other standard model or beyond the standard model processes. In this talk, recent measurements of the differential cross sections of Z + jets and γ + jets production as a function of the boson transverse momentum and other observables will be presented. Recent measurements of associate production of Z bosons with b and c-quark jets will also be shown.
