DESCRIPTION:The Norwegian project ReleQuant develops digital\, research-ba
 sed learning resources in quantum physics and general relativity for upper
  secondary school. It is a design-based research project with the dual aim
  of offering validated learning resources for use in schools\, and perform
 ing research on student understanding and learning within modern physics. 
 Practicing physics teachers and physics teacher students are included in t
 he work. Resources are available at www.viten.no/eng/.\n\nDuring the semin
 ar\, the audience will be invited to engage with the  ReleQuant learning 
 resources. We will also give examples of the research results that have co
 me out of the Project concerning student understanding and Learning in mod
