DESCRIPTION:Upcoming LSS surveys will probe almost the whole observable un
iverse at low redshift. To correctly interpret measurements of modes at t
he horizon scale we need to develop an accurate relativistic gauge-invaria
nt description of LSS\, beyond the simple Newtonian approximation.\nSome
relativistic effects break the symmetry along the line-of-sight and they s
ource\, contrarily to the standard perturbation theory\, the odd multipol
es of the matter power spectrum\, providing a unique signature for their
detection in LSS surveys. \nIn my talk I will present a novel approach to
compute the relativistic effects at the leading order in the weak field
approximation and I will discuss how this approach can simplify the compar
ison with (light-cone) N-body simulations. \nI will conclude showing tha
t a conservative Fisher matrix forecast suggests that DESI will be able to
detect (at least at 4sigma) the impact of relativistic effects on the di
