    Image Cataloguing Exchange</h2>
Tony - mail I sent last workday on 15th &amp; Owen&#39;s mail, recapping : Image metadata had been uploaded to file catalog images from Ian G and Predrag instantiated and contextualised with identical scripts by both Andrea and Thomas. Ian&#39;s image needed hard coded mac address removing.<br>

Problems instantiated images signed with UK and ? (sound bad here) certificates<br>
Owen has a fix believed to be definitive<br>

Owen - found one more problem today - also now fixed<br>
<br>
Tony - seem now to have contextualisation worked out - standard set of scripts will work for images generated by different people. Needs fuller documentation.<br>

Andrea - in a good state, a bit more documentation to ease process for adding ssh key and what else the script can do etc.<br>

Thomas - perhaps we can provide some defaults - eth0, dhcp etc. We had probs with DHCP as we wanted a static config, but will get rid of this.<br>

Tony - Michel and Steve Thorne managed instantiation of previously cataloged StratusLab image but uinable to instantiate their own images. Has anyone done work with StratusLab? (Ian - RAL planning to but will not be immediate due to resources)<br>

Owen - one issue is batch queue facilities for managing VM resources. How does user select VM environment. Nice if we could standardise this across the world.<br>
Tony - WLCG just set up technology evaluation working group. Virtualisation is on their list to look at. Jeff Templon and Marcus (? - sound again...) Imagine they are looking at how virtualisation fits into the grid.<br>

    Cern VMIC</h2>
Belimiro - CERN and ASGC will collaborate for a VMIC implementation to replace what we are using and of course will support all HEPiX specifications.<br>
The implementation will address what is specified in the document already distributed in the HEPiX WG.<br>

Owen - found bug in upgrades to image list. Will need DB schema upgrade to fix<br>

Are there things we should discuss more than how we have got on with StratusLab?<br>
<br>
Owen - need to focus on getting things documented. Would like feedback on what they want how they would like things improved<br>

Tony - so those two - docs and stratuslab<br>

Tony - can we repeat successful work days? Doodle poll for weeks in July, August September<br>

Owen asked about selecting VMs in torque maui. Tony/Ian - suggested this is somewhat mixed/linked with Marcus/Jeff&#39;s work in the technology evaluation working group.<br>
