Practical information
Location: The workshop will be held in the conference room, 222-R-001 ('Filtration plant'), located between CERN's two main hostels (Bldg. 39 and 41).
How-to-reach CERN: From Geneva airport you can take the 'CERN shuttle', during regular working hours (Mon-Fri, 8:30 - 19:30). Otherwise, please, consult tpg.ch, specifying the approximate date and the following stops in the field "Recherche d'itineraire": De = "Aeroport"; A = “CERN".
Accommodation: we have pre-booked 80 rooms in the CERN hostels which will be distributed at a 'first-come-first-serve' basis to registered participants. To request them, contact michelle.connor@cern.ch, indicating precisely the dates of your stay, and the type of room (we have both single and double rooms).
Visa: Conference participants are requested to familiarize themselves with visa requirements well in advance of the conference. Letters of invitation for visa purposes will be available for registered conference participants upon request to qwg-2014@cern.ch
Social program: There will be a reception cocktail in the evening of Monday, 10th of Nov, at CERN, in a reserved space of the main canteen.
