The white paper available here, written by Early Career Researchers (ECRs) in particle physics, aims to represent the perspectives of the European ECR community and serves as a supporting document for the 2025–2026 European Particle Physics Strategy Update. Based on a community-wide survey, it highlights key challenges faced by ECRs, including career stability and development, funding access, and long-term research opportunities, while proposing policy recommendations and targeted initiatives to foster career growth, collaboration, and sustained investment in the field. It also addresses the future of both collider and beyond-collider experiments, emphasising the critical role of ECRs in shaping upcoming projects. Finally, it underscores the importance of effective communication about particle physics, strong diversity, equity, and inclusion practices, and interdisciplinary collaboration with neighbouring fields and industries to reinforce the field’s societal relevance and ensure continued support for large-scale and long-term projects.

We invite everyone who did not contribute as editor or author to the white paper to register below to show their personal support for the messages conveyed in the paper.
