ASFAP: YPF Physics Working Group Introductions Series
ASFAP— Young Physicists Forum presents: The ASFAP— Physics Working Group Introductions Series.
This meeting will feature the Light Sources, Astro&Cosmo, Energy and Atomic&Molecular Physics Working Groups. Each presenting co-convener will have 15 minutes to introduce the Physics Working Group they represent, and how young physicist participants can get involved in their WG (with 5 min reserved for questions).
This meeting is the first in a four part series, so check out our other dates for more Physics Working Groups (Jun. 22, 29 and July 6). Minutes and recording will be posted after the meeting.

Questions and Answers
————————————-
Q. How about green hydrogen which is emergent nowadays?
A. Good question. Can use, can also fabricate hydrogen, oxygen. This is important because many countries are importing oxygen and hydrogen. Nice technology that could be developed in Africa.
Q. Which African countries are ready for nuclear power?
A. Maybe South Africa, Morocco, Egypt. African countries may focus potential in other energies: solar, wind, water, etc. One country I can be sure maybe South Africa.

Questions and Answers
————————————-
Q. How does atomic and molecular physics help in elucidating the matter and anti-matter asymmetry?
A. By starting with a full understanding of the hydrogen atom and then applying the concepts of the hydrogen atom to solve the asymmetry enigma, but unable to delve into details for experts.
Comment (Mounia Laassiri):
-Update Atomic & Molecular WG information on the ASFAP page so that people can get more information from there.
Closing Remarks: (Mounia Laassiri)
-Thanked the the speakers
