All applicants are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract. The SOC will assign oral presentations to selected contributions, and summary presentations to the remaining ones.
The number of (non-invited) participants is limited to about 30. If there are more applications, the selection of participants will be based on the relevance of the proposed abstract, the importance of the workshop for the advancement of the career of the applicant as well as diversity (in gender, country, etc). As with all COST actions, early-career scientists are given priority.
There is some limited funding available to support participants. Our MW-Gaia Action is following the COST organisation’s inclusiveness policies and will evaluate requests for support against these criteria and the applicants statement as to why their attendance at the workshop will be beneficial to them and/or the other conference participants
