Description
In the talk, current application examples of nanotechnology in furniture lacquers will be presented. The high demands on furniture surfaces can be achieved by using nanoscale particles in furniture lacquers. These nanocomposite lacquers are characterised by excellent mechanical and viscoelastic properties. Among other things, scratch and abrasion resistance are improved and chemical resistance is increased. The inorganic nanoparticles firmly integrated into the lacquer matrix do not impair the transparency and gloss of the furniture lacquer.
