Description
The discovery of the Higgs boson at the LHC has opened a whole new chapter of exploration in particle physics, and the measurement of the Higgs boson couplings to second generation fermions is one of the next milestones of the LHC physics program. The associated production of a Higgs boson and a charm quark (c+H) is sensitive to the Higgs-charm coupling, and is yet to be probed experimentally at the LHC. This talk describes first studies to search for H+c production with CMS data in the diphoton channel.
