Description

Over the past couple of decades, long baseline neutrino oscillation experiments have made significant progress and are now in a mature phase. The current and new experiments aim to achieve precision physics and to determine the remaining two parameters: CP violation and hierarchy. Using the most recent T2K result as an example, this seminar will explain the high level of complexity involved in these experiments, including detector technology, nuclear physics, and complex statistical analysis. Through this journey, we will explore the current status of the field and its future prospects.
