- Injection

- All OK, but a few remaining aspects
- MKI waveform measurement remain to be done before physics. On P8 following MKI-cool replacement : Waveform OK on IPOC, measurement with beam at 7.8us pulse length planned tomorrow.
- Blindable BLM validation in P2&8 -> coordinated by BI-BLM
- Note that similar to 2023 the TCDIL collimator 29206 is measured with lower than expected apertur and may require adjustment if injectoin losses are too high (discussed here)
- LBDS

- ASDs remain to be done before physics
- Abord gap cleaning with increasing intensities
- TDE with
- Conclusion
- Ready for physics from ABT view after MKI8 wavfevorm and ASDs are completed
- IR6 BPMs tests with beam now completed by OP and an automatic tool here, faster and more rigorous than ever !

AFP 5mSpeaker: Maciej Trzebinski (Polish Academy of Sciences (PL))
AFP did BBA at beta*=1.2 m:
- C FAR - XRPH.B6R1.B1: 2.33 mm (motor)
LVDT: 2.19 mm - C NEAR - XRPH.A6R1.B1: 2.82 mm (motor)
LVDT: 3.00 mm - A NEAR - XRPH.A6L1.B2: 2.13 mm (motor)
LVDT: 2.16 mm - A FAR - XRPH.B6L1.B2: 2.35 mm (motor)
LVDT: 2.29 mm
We observed the issue with A NEAR -> could not pass 1.78 mm step with collimator application (pot was retracted by motor). We solved it by switching to the standalone movement application (LabView) to finish BBA. Since data-takingposition is further away, it should not be an issue with movement, still it would be good to undestand the source of problem (sometime next week, in a period w/o beam (access?), with limits opened and override ON so we can move pots; once the PXI expert is back).
Currently are doing loss maps, taking calibration data at various beta^* / crossing angle steps.
- AFP would like to confirm beam position (no changes expected from MAD-X studies) at beta^* 0.6/0.18 and theta_C = 160 µm and 120 µm which we think is the smallest crossing angle we will have.
