Conceptual Review of the SPL Short Cryomodule
Goals:
Present cryomodule user’s needs and design requirements
Review dressed cavity assembly (the “cold mass” to be integrated)
Review cryostat main concepts:
General layout and integration
Cavity supporting system
Vacuum vessel and cryostat assembly concepts
Magnetic shielding
Thermal shielding
Cryogenic scheme, control and diagnostic devices (valves, instrumentation)
