LHCreate final presentations

Presentation of four interactive prototype exhibits built during LHCcreate hackathon and election of the winner.

On 18 & 19 October, the LHCreate hackathon will bring together creative people from CERN with students from IPAC Design Genève to work together. Organized by the CMS, ATLAS and ALICE experiments, the 2018 edition will challenge participants to build prototype exhibits that are fun, creative, and reproducible by students 12-16 years old, to give them a taste of what we do at CERN every day.

After two days of fun, work and free pizza, the teams will present their prototypes at an event during which a panel of judges and members of the general public will vote for the winning team.

Come discover and vote for your favourite prototype on Friday 19 October at 20:00 at the Globe of Science and Innovation. The goal of this event is to bring CERN science to schools.

LHCreate, présentation finale

Présentation des quatre prototypes interactifs fabriqués lors du hackathon LHCcreate, et élection du modèle gagnant.

Les 18 et 19 octobre, le hackathon LHCreate rassemblera des personnalités créatives du CERN et des étudiants de l'IPAC (école de design à Genève) pour travailler ensemble. Organisée par les expériences CMS, ATLAS et ALICE, l'édition 2018 verra les équipes participantes construire des prototypes d'exposition amusants, créatifs et reproduisibles en classe par des étudiants de 12 à 16 ans, dans le but de leur donner une idée des activités quotidiennes du CERN.  

Après deux jours de travail et de pizza, les équipes présenteront leurs prototypes lors d'un événement public face à un jury qui sélectionnera le vainqueur.

Venez découvrir les projets et voter le vendredi 19 octobre 2018 à 20h00 au Globe de la science et de l'innovation.

Le but de l'événement? Rapprocher le CERN des écoles!
