ALICE #2001

  • MTR

Reminder:

  • mixer pressure regulation does not work: Zimmerli not installed
  • exhaust pressure regulation does not work
  • Dummy chamber: Arturo said he has no manpower to install the pipes. Beatrice said that we (gas team) will not pull the pipes
  • TPC
    • Rack pump re-building done: leak test on-going
    • Final connection for TPC for the gas system
    • Modification to add the filter in the distribution pipe

Reminder:

  • LPh to prepare a summary on how the system is now —> in 2 weeks
  • TRD
    • elog 862 piquet:
      • LPh found a leak in the exhaust of the analysis module (in the VBO)
      • Second leak: LPh left open a manual valve din the calibration line

Reminder

  • Purifier: safety valve at the input where we have Ar or Ar/H2 at high pressure —> LPh to check with safety
  • Purifier: to review if keep the safety valve or the rupture disk

  • After the power-cut there was not communication with PLC: damage of differential circuit breaker —> to repair

    • Pump 3 maintenance
    • Purifier filters modification started

  • Rack 68 (ch 17): one channel is keeping going to zero —> try to change the ELMB

 

CMS #1993

    • Dummy chamber prepared with leak test
    • RB0,-1 and -2 distribution rack prepared for dummy chamber
    • Safety valves dismounted for calibration
    • To finish the commissioning and testing of all pneumatic lines
    • Geraldine and Marc working on the software
    • Electrical work: elog 2000
    • Purifier 3: new chassis ready. Mechanics work to do

  • Problem on distribution: strange peaks in the regulation valve and some alarms due to low pressure in the rack —> to investigate

    • Open/close plugs during open days and last Monday: 2 mbar more in the cavern caused a stop of CSC distribution racks
