Summary of meeting on April 15, 2026, The recording is available here.

1. We decided to improve the chapter on Energy as follows, by Monday, April 20
   1. Simon will add a section on Nuclear Energy.
   2. Marie-Chantal will go through the editor's comments.
   3. Rob will add an overview of the contributions of Physics to energy in Africa and the current research status.
   4. Lawrence will do proofreading and integration.
   5. The author list on this chapter will be augmented with these contributors.
2. Official country names
   1. We decided to get a definitive input from UNESCO about politically correct references to country names. We have already done so.
   2. We will mention early in the report the consistency that we have adopted when referring to country names.
3. We aim to deliver the report to UNESCO on April 22
   1. We encourage editors to tie up any loose ends before then.
   2. The folks improving the Energy chapter to wrap by April 20.
