Scope
The main goals of the review are to:
-
present the LHC transverse beam profile monitoring functional requirements for the LHC in the High-Lumi era and the WP13 strategy which has been developed to fulfil them.
-
evaluate the performance and limitations of the beam instruments developed to meet these requirements.
-
highlight the main risks for successfully deploying the system in the LHC during Long Shutdown 3 (LS3), considering technical, budget and schedule factors.

Charge Questions
The Review Panel members are asked to answer the following questions:
1. Does the committee agree with the BI strategy for transverse beam profile monitoring?
2. For each proposed technical solution
- Does the monitor meet all functional requirements?
- Is the proposed strategy and the milestones to address remaining technical issues or risks well-defined and aligned with implementation during LS3?
- Are budget and schedule clearly explained?
