Salient points:
- Viktoriya Lvova has been appointed by the ICTP to help with the logistics of the symposium. She can be reached at smr4248@ictp.it.
- The names of people who received the letter of invitation from UNESCO have been communicated to the ICTP who will reach out to them with further details including accommodation coverage and, if needed, help with visa application. These people have priority regarding the limited housing allocation at the ICTP. Other people who wish to stay at the ICTP guesthouses, if space is still available, may contact Viktoriya and arrange payment.
- We need to know urgently of the people that are having visa issues.
- We don't need to have 2 posters; we prefer keeping the poster that we have already produced.
- We need to add a registration fee to cover coffee breaks. We will reach out the people who already registered to that effect. Students and locals are the ICTP will not be required to pay a registration fee.
- Rob Adam has prepared for the IAC a SWOT analysis on the ASFAP report. Details are uploaded to the indico page. Please look. The IAC intends to present and discuss this at the symposium.
- Ouissal presented the new chapter about "A quantum Strategy for Africa". It is now included in the report as chapter 13. There is previously a chapter 12 on Computing. The interconnection between these chapters is being discussed for synchronization. Rob and Tunde will provide Ouissal with contacts at NiTheCS and CERN for further inputs to chapter 13.
- We agree to implement all comments by October 10. At that time, a new draft will be submitted to the IAC as the version to be discussed at the symposium.
- The following persons have agreed to coordinate feedback, inputs, and joint slides of the various groups. You should contact them about your chapter.
