FCC Week 2026 – Preparatory Webinar for Engagement of Latvian Industry will bring together representatives from selected Latvian industries, research institutes and CERN to introduce the FCC project and explore potential areas of collaboration, as a preparatory step towards future visits and follow-up exchanges. 

The webinar will provide an overview of the FCC Feasibility Study, its main outcomes and next steps, while highlighting technological and industrial opportunities related to accelerator technologies and technical infrastructure.

The event will also serve as a preparatory platform ahead of FCC Week 2026 in Helsinki, fostering dialogue and strengthening connections between Latvian stakeholders and the international FCC community.

      Roundtable Discussion: Latvian Industry, Research Institutes and FCC Collaboration Opportunities
      Exchange between representatives from Latvian industry, research institutes and CERN on potential areas of collaboration related to the Future Circular Collider. The discussion will serve as a preparatory step ahead of the FCC Week 2026 Industry Day in Helsinki, helping identify shared interests, opportunities for in-person meetings and possible future collaborations. It will also provide an opportunity to discuss the organisation of a future dedicated visit or more extended follow-up meeting involving Latvian stakeholders and FCC experts.

      Potential participants include representatives from MikroTik, SAF Tehnika, Primekss, Naco Technologies, Lightguide, the Institute of Solid-State Physics, University of Latvia (ISSP UL), the Institute of Chemical Physics (ICP), University of Latvia, and the RTU Institute of Particle Physics and Accelerator Technologies.
