- Purchase order for Staubli latches (presentation at previous meeting) has been sent.
- VSC delivered 4 drift tubes instead on 5. We need visibility on the delivery of the 5th one.
- Need of a geometrical assessment of the TCTPXV drift tubes already delivered (Action for STI).
- F.-X. Nuiry sent an email to Alexandros and Jorge on the 7/07 at 11h51 with a list of questions and the request to upload their last slides about the structural assessment onto the agenda of the 29/06 meeting.
- VSC completed the UHV assessment of the 4 x LHCTCTPXV_0123 + 4 x LHCTCTPXV_0121. All OK. Need report.
Among them:
-> 1 x LHCTCTPXV_0123 + 3 x LHCTCTPXV_0121 are OK.
-> 3 x LHCTCTPXV_0123 + 1 x LHCTCTPXV_0121 present geometrical defects: At least two or more fingers are overlapping, probably due to the weld difference of heating, along the circumference.
Decisions:
a. 1x valid LHCTCTPXV_0123 is kept at CERN for installation on the TCTPXV pre-series.
b. 7 other parts are sent back to CINEL for actual test with LHCTCTPXV_0131, in view of assessing if 3 x LHCTCTPXV_0123 + 1 x LHCTCTPXV_0121 shall be re-produced or not.
