Status of ATS-IT cloud POC:

Jose made a status before leaving.

• We have added 1 more hypervisor in the MDC and all the hypervisors for the quad in the CCR as hypervisors. So we have now ~1.5TB of RAM for resources available.
• The control plane for the TN region has been scaled up to allow more workloads to use the APIs. (3 nodes each) It is distributed among the 2 availability zones.
• We still rely on a single image service as we have pending the credentials to the S3 bucket.
• Quota has been allocated to our Kubernetes colleagues to allow them to create resources in the TN region and start to lay out their control plane.
• All this new setup is now monitored and validated as any other Openstack deployment in the site.
• My cloud colleagues will upgrade the network component (OVN cluster) next week so it's aligned with all the setups we have.

 

New HW will be soon arriving and 12 server's will be then allocated to the quota of the region.

Status Octavia and Load balancer is not started and redo without any migration.

Next steps: 

Diana will start deploying KBS hypervisor's inside TN cluster.

Thomas propose to meet each 2 weeks during summer, the audience agree and Enzo will remove the unused Indico meeting.
In any case for urgent matters a meeting can be spawn trough the Mattermost channel
