Unresolved issues to be commented in parameter report:
- Large longitudinal mismatch between RLA and RCS -> Possible mitigation: lower RF frequency in RCS1.
- Number of straight sections in SPS tunnel is 6, not 8 -> Possible mitigation: Too late to redo the optics, but there should be no blocking point to correct this.
- Horizontal RCS3 smaller than in other RCS, due to energy swing -> Possible mitigation: Would need to change handover energy
- Intensity assumption defined at RCS chained input: $2.7\cdot10^{12}$ mu/bunch, assuming 90% transmission per RCS (greenfield) -> Possible mitigation: overall optimization with target collider intensity/luminosity as a reference.
- Inconsistent number of straight sections in lattice design and number of RF stations required from longitudinal point of view -> Possible mitigation: optics design would be compatible with 28 stations. Investigate option of changing straight sections. How many straight sections can we have? Adapt momentum compaction to number of RF stations/straight sections available. Re-check the minimum energy difference between the beam before and after RF station.
