HI-ECN3 - Noise Safety Follow Up

Europe/Zurich

Attendance: James Currie, Jean-Louis Grenard, Jordan Minier, Melania Averna, Gemma Humphries, Claudia Ahdida, Francesco Dragoni, Nikola Zaric, Michael Dole

Introduction from stakeholders of their involvement in the project, and foreseen noise sources.

Identification of the need for noise power levels of each source (HVAC System, Electrical equipment, Doors) to be provided to HSE, allowing for a noise assessment to be conducted. It is understood that some information will be limited due to slow reply times from suppliers.

Suggestion for ambient noise level monitoring to be conducted at site limit.

Jordan to run a preliminary calculation for the HVAC system on the roof and the two transformers on the ground (outside B911).

Need for external acoustic consultant to prepare the noise impact assessment report, which will be submitted with the “Permis de Construire” to the relevant French authorities. This is to be arranged in conjunction with SHiP requirements that are still to be defined.
