_ presentation by Emma about the strategy for new traveling exhibitions

  • multiple stakeholders consulted
  • proactive - what is important for CERN 
  • funding 30kchf at the moment 
  • now more of a shopping list
  • Cannot compete with hands on
  • Immersive audio visual, can be costly.
  • Transport people to CERN - you need to give people an experience to plant the seed of excitement 
  • Priorities top five countries (Member States) 
  • May 27 - Serbia and also Ireland. Visit before the Open Days (Science Museums) 
  • Artworks along with additional objects /films/interactives,.. Host institution would interact with the artists. 
  • Inspiration book - what's available for museums - Emma shares with those requesting
  • Alumni - possibilty to include alumni if the host so wishes
  • AI used to update languages in videos 
  • Current exhibition - can be reused 

 

Events

  • Arts at CERN events  ( meet the artists) - raise awareness within the CERN Community
  • Not all events can be open to the alumni community but Collide can be promoted more broadly. 
  • Collide SE, Nobel museum - infrom the alumni 
  • Post events on alumni.cern and also create an alumni arts at CERN group. 
  • NFTL Arts in September /May
