How particle accelerators work

Europe/Zurich
Description

The CERN Education team, organisers of student programmes such as Beamline for Schools (BL4S; https://cern.ch/bl4s) and the Solvay Camp (https://solvay-education-programme.web.cern.ch/), invites you to the first round of our online student seminar series.

In these seminars, you will have the opportunity to learn more about CERN’s research activities, how particle accelerators work, particle detector physics, career paths in science and engineering, computing and AI, and to take part in a virtual visit to a CERN facility.

To allow students from different time zones to participate, we will hold one session at 3 pm CEST (Central European Time). Below you can find the Zoom link to join the event.
