Drupal: version control & deployment techniques discussion
Description
Drupal is a very nice tool but it's difficult to do version control while developing, and deploying from development to production. Dumping the database to a text file and applying version control to it is not enough and does not solve the deployment problem.
We will discuss the Features module, very useful for any Drupal developer or site builder; pure code-driven development techniques; Drupal installation profiles & makefiles; and the Aegir tool.
