From dialogue to impact: What needs to change in the European accelerator innovation ecosystem
The main objective of this session is to present and discuss the importance of establishing permanent boards to coordinate industry and research institutions with the BSBF community. The Accelerator Industry Permanent Forum (AIPF) is a prime example in the field of accelerators and must be consolidated and eventually expanded. This session will provide a brief overview of AIPF's work, focusing primarily on the lessons learned and the proposed changes to its role as a permanent strategic interface between industry, research infrastructures, and European projects. After that, there will be an open discussion about the expected changes to the European accelerator innovation ecosystem related to the new perspectives of research infrastructures and the future plans of the next European Commission frameworks.
