CERN TOUR 2 - Thursday 03/09, 15h30 to 18h - One of the experiments
ALICE
Meeting point: bus to ALICE leaves from the vicinity of the Council chamber at 3:30 pm and is back at 6:30 pm
Visitors will be guided by the two ALICE outreach coordinators, Tapan Nayak and Despina Hatzifotiadou, through the experiment control room, exhibition and, of course, the underground experiment.

Maximum: 48 visitors
ATLAS & the Gateway
3 groups of 12 people will be taken to the experiment. This takes 50 minutes each, and advanced registration is mandatory as the visit request has to be approved in advance and visitors need to receive and follow safety instructions.
Meeting point: someone will wait for you at the ATLAS entry gate on the Gateway parking (see image below).
The tours will start at 15h30, 16h20, 17h10 . Do not be late as we will not be avle to wait for you.
Before or after: you are invited to discover the Science Gateway and its innovative approach to outreach. Enter the exhibit space on your own and interact with the guides that are present (with red jackets) to learn more about the building, the activities and the project overwhelming success.
