Collector
- ESnet and GEANT collectors can now exchange data over Kafka bus !
- CERN collector started sending to GEANT on Monday
- Results show up correctly on ESnet dashboard: https://dashboard.stardust.es.net/goto/j0xZbjCNR?orgId=2
- Next step will be to redirect eu.scitags.org to GEANT (this is used by CNAF and will be used by other EU T1s)
- uk.scitags.org TBD - do we have an estimate how many sites are using it right now ? Shall we ask RAL to reconfigure ?
- Looking for use cases for network operations that would motivate Scitags deployment
- Ideas, suggestions and/or experiences are welcome
Collector Dashboards
- Topology: Collecting all prefixes from LHCONE and non-LHCONE sites
- Plan to release collector plugins and dashboards that were developed as part of the CERN collector deployment (https://github.com/scitags/firefly-collector/)
- In logstash this will add CRIC topology processing (CRIC sites, tiers, countries, etc.), throughput calculations, correct handling of xrootd's http-put/get methods
- Will also add sample Kafka output config (which is used by GEANT right now)
- Two new dashboards, one similar to WLCG transfers, another one more site related (DTNs throughputs, flows, etc.)
