James informed the group that the post of Head of Communication had been published last week and that Communication and Education outreach groups had been merged.

He further informed that Antonella will be taking over Christine's post as Courrier editor and will be in charge from the issue of November. Antonella will continue to be responsible of the Internal communication.

Following a question, James said that his future role was unclear as he only knows that he will be writing for Fabiola and will be in charge of the SESAME communication.

Following another question, James said that the post of Director of internal relations is externally recruited.

 

 

11:15 → 11:30 Collisions

Dan  gave an update regarding the collisions and he mentioned that a series of videos will be made and that each role had been defined accordingly:

Camera operators: Christoph, Jacques, Noemi, Ron
Sound producers: Jacques and Ron
Editor: Christoph
Requestor: Dan
Scientific experts: Lucio Rossi, Ron, Freddy Bordry
Next steps:
Produce 1 page abstract of the project (Dan)
Identify possible external scriptwriters
Identify training for​ Logic Pro X (Jacques)
Meet next Tuesday to discuss brief, plan involvement of externals

Jacques called for volunteers to help for the videos of the collisions, which shall happen on 1st June. The volunteers should go to Jacques or Paola.
