  • Michele to organise meeting with Edu to discuss leak of IR laser either before or after compression, and to understand if it is negative chirp or not so that we can compensate dispersion with fibres. 
  • Michele to check the range of transverse displacement of the bellows which may give the option of moving the whole chamber (mm level required) during operation if needed. 
  • Michele to check with ABT/Eleonora the expected beam offset. 
  • Sam/Morgan to consider other options for the mounting and movement of the OTR screen and crystal – possible two actuators holding separately the OTR and crystal. 
  • Summary of needs identified so far: 
    • 2x cameras (1 for OTR imaging for spatial alignment of laser and electron beam and 1 for spectrometer if not commercial one)
    • 1 or 2x actuators for moving screen and crystal inside vacuum chamber 
    • 1x stepper motor for switching between photodiode and camera outside of the vacuum chamber
    • Likely several motors for mirror controls for laser (depending on the fibre/air setup) and for fibre coupling mount once the laser is back out of the crystal, also consider motors outside of the tunnel if needed e.g. for mirrors etc. 
    • 1x fast photodiode for laser and beam time-synchronisation
    • 1x fast scope for laser and beam time-synchronisation
