Welcome to the LHC Career Networking Event 2026!

Why you should join:

  • 6 inspiring talks by CERN Alumni sharing their experiences outside of academia, find out more about them here.
  • 3 insightful talks by the CERN Alumni team, the CERN Knowledge Transfer Group, and the CERN Idea Square about:
    • The CERN Alumni Network and why you should be part of it today
    • Launching your own company: CERN Startup Support
    • TOUCHDOWN! Using what you have to land your next job
  • 2 deliciously catered networking breaks to get in touch with the speakers
  • 1 panel discussion with all speakers to wrap up the event

The event is supported by the ALICE, ATLAS, CMS and LHCb Collaborations, CERN Alumni, and CERN HR; however, we welcome participants from all experiments and all sectors at CERN, as well as CERN Alumni.

The event carries a 10 CHF registration fee (for in-person participation only), and there are two breaks during the evening for drinks and light food with the speakers. The fee supports the catering during the breaks.

Registration is mandatory and requires a CERN account or an external/guest account. We will provide a Zoom link for remote participation in the talks.

Update: In-person registration deadline has been extended to the day of the event.

Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to collect your batch.

See Fee Payment page for information on how to pay. You only need the checkout button for the credit card payment. For other payment methods, your registration will be marked as paid once the payment is received.
