Simon / Tomas:
- Test beam with irradiated H2M chips 4 weeks ago, using the new stack with Constellation and new Peary. Worked smoothly.
- Tomas is working on ALPIDE telescope implementation with new Peary. This cleared up previous issues. Need to operate 6 different devices in parallel.
- Working on SPARC implementation for Peary, Firmware, Reco Software. Slow-control and TDC data readout works. No pixel data yet. (Configuration issue.) Timestamps still to be implemented in the fw.
Sammy:
- Making progress on PCB, using v1.5 PCB as starting point. Fixed various design-rule violations in CaR board v1.5 layout.
- Next steps: put Mercury footprint on PCB, open-up PCB to make space. Need to add 2 more internal routing layers, in addition to the current 2. Test board has fewer layers anyway.
- Tomas: power supplies will in any case be redesigned for new CaR board and a lot of space is needed for connectors. Maybe better to start design from scratch?
- Eric: we do not attempt to take much over from v1.5 design to v2. Most components have been redesigned for test board. v1.5 has no SoM. --> should not base design on v1.5.
- Can also design some individual footprints for various components, in preparation for new design.
Eric:
- About 1/2 way done with schematics. Not yet ready to share. Have to discuss with Hucheng next week, when he will be at BNL.
Abraham (slides on Indico):
- Working since March on integration of Eric's TDC module in Caribou framework.
