Through these workshops, the research communities have converged on a common vision for FIM, enumerated a set of requirements and proposed a number of recommendations for ensuring a roadmap for the uptake of FIM is achieved. These points have been documented in a paper (https://cdsweb.cern.ch/record/1442597).

The CERN hostel is convenient, however it can be fully booked quite quickly. If this is the case, we recommend hotels close to the railway station in Geneva, which is also close to the tram line nr 18 ( to CERN).

Some of the hotels close to the railway station that we can recommend:

The Cornavin airport is a taxi journey from CERN (around 35 CHF) and has good public transport connections to the centre of Geneva. Alternatively, you can use the Tram 18 which stops outside the CERN reception (building 33) http://home.web.cern.ch/directions

For those coming from outside CERN, there will be access badges available at the reception in building 33 (just oppposite the tram stop) from the 3 February.
