Description

Despite the explanatory advantages of a weak-scale supersymmetry, the LHC has found no evidence for it. This talk will outline some popular ways SUSY could escape our typical searches for large missing transverse momentum and high mass scales. Weak-scale naturalness can be restored by low-mass SUSY spectra that can evade missing transverse energy requirements or even object reconstruction techniques. Such signatures can arise from models in which R-parity is not conserved and in models where SUSY partners gain significant lifetimes. The ATLAS Experiment’s program of searches for these signatures will be presented.
