Description
Since 2007, we were involved in the China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) project. Several kinds of neutron detectors were under study in last three years, such as two-dimensional position sensitive neutron detector, MWPC (200mm*200mm), scintillator neutron detector and beam monitor with Gas Electron Multiplier (GEM). With those studies, we finished the preliminary design of the detectors for three neutron scattering instruments, the high intensity powder diffractmeter (HIPD), the multi-purpose reflectmeter (MR) and the Small-angle Neutron Spectrometer (SANS).
