Conveners grouped the 12 topics in the following 7 subgroups:

    2. Internet connectivity / internet startup resources
    3. Applications and industry

 

SUBGROUP 3:

    1. e-lab & e-learning

 

SUBGROUP 4:

    1. Business Development and Entrepreneurism

 

SUBGROUP 5:

    1. Public Education and Outreach
    2. Diversity and Inclusion and Equity

 

SUBGROUP 6:

    1. Government Engagement and public policy

 

SUBGROUP 7:

    1. Career pipelines & Development
    2. Retention
    1. Capacity development

 

  1. Scope of the C.E Group

 

    1. Define the WG: topics & subgroups
      • Invite people to subgroups:
        • Questions: Who should invite people? What is the procedure of inviting people? Can we invite people from outside the ASFAP?
      • Appoint the head of each subgroup
      • Define scope/vision of subgroup
    2. Advertise the group to the scientific community in our institutions
      • Do we need a letter/document (showing the scope of ASFAP) to approach universities officials? – if necessary
              • Discuss with ASFAP committee
      • Each subgroup will advertise itself
    3. Handling of documents: letters of intents; white papers; progress reports; final report.
      • Refer to the general ASFAP timeline

 

  • 15:30 → 15:50: Put together a working plan
    1. Activities Planning:
      • Get more information on the formation of subgroups & their scope (from the Steering committee? – Clementine will contact the committee)
      • Refer to the general ASFAP Timeline
    2. Future meetings schedule: 02 /06 /2021
  • 15:50 → 16:00: Conclusion
