UV generation, optimization and scheme development of Pb and Cd for RILIS

The successful operation of the Resonance Ionization Laser Ion Source is crucial for the production of radioactive beams at ISOLDE and relies both on the on-line operations as well as the developments off-line. This talk will provide insight into some of the off-line developments in the RILIS lab concerning stable UV generation as well as providing a look into scheme development of Pb and Cd to increase the efficiency of laser ionization of these elements.
